Chief Commercial Officer - Market Relationship Management

Haitham Abo El Fadl holds the position of Chief Commercial Officer - Market Relationship Management working on developing strategic business partnerships with cedents and enhanicng our reinsurance alliance in select markets.

Mr. Haitham possess over 17 years of experience in customers and brokers’ relationship management in both the insurance and reinsurance industry in Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.

Most recently, Mr. Haitham served as Deputy Chief Services Officer with Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC) in the UAE for 6 years responsible for designing and implementing various innovative models achieving the company’s commitment towards profitable and sustainable growth.

Mr, Haitham had direct oversight of the following initiatives and functions:

    Client and broker relationship management both for commercial and consumer lines business.
    Established the company’s Underwriting Renewal Preservation Unit (RPU) for all lines of business.
    Managed the transactions related to reinsurance placements (inward and outward).
    Contributed in the monthly reconciliation with reinsurers, ceding companies and affiliates.
    Launching e-portals for Commercial lines.

Prior to ADNIC, Mr. Haitham served for 6 years (2003-2009) as Assistant Vice President for the Operations & Business Planning Division with the American International Group, Inc. (AIG) – Egypt, responsible for rolling out AIG’s Business Operating Model to improve the customer’s experience. In addition to that he was working with the executive management in formulating and implementing the strategic business plan for the organization.

From 1998 – 2003, Mr. Haitham led the Customer Service Centre Management function and Process Transformation initiative at MobiNil (Egypt’s premier mobile services company).

Mr. Haitham holds a Masters of Business Administration MBA, ESLSCA (France), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, from Ain Shams University (Egypt).
